Structured Cabling Technician

Marcus Networking Inc is now hiring Structured Cabling Technician Structured Cabling Technician Job Summary: We have an immediate opening for an experienced Cable Technician. You will join our field service team to service commercial clients. Job duties include installing new cable systems, troubleshooting current systems that are causing problems, and repairing voice and data cables when necessary. We prefer candidates who have at least one year of professional experience, but we are willing to train the right person.
Duties and responsibilities of Structured Cabling Technicians:
- Install cable tray and supports correctly.
- Rough in various types of cable above ceiling or raised floor.
- Set up cable reels or boxes in preparation for installation.
- Dress cables in pathways and work areas.
- Dress cable down a wall and/ or thru modular furniture.
- Install cut outs, install faceplates, and terminate jacks.
- Assemble racks and or cabinets.
- Terminate FIBER, CAT5E, CAT6, CAT6A, RG6, RG11 jacks. Mount faceplates and surface mount boxes correctly. Adhere to labeling standards.
- Develop basic skills in terminating patch panels and wiring blocks.
Job requirements for Structured Cabling Technician:
- Must be able to work in a construction area at heights, on a ladder and confined spaces.
- Lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Must be self-motivated and professional.
- Must be able to work flexible hours or shifts.
- Valid Driver Licensee
- Must be able to pass a background check

Help Desk Technician

This is a full-time, on-site role for an IT Managed Services Provider (MSP) Help Desk at Marcus Networking Inc. located in Tempe, AZ. The Help Desk professional will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT support tasks including, but not limited to: network administration, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring network security, and providing excellent customer service. The role also involves coordinating with different teams to ensure seamless IT operations. *Remote positions not available.
Qualified candidates will have experience with all or most of the below:
- Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is advantageous
- Experience in Network Administration and Network Security
- Strong Information Technology and Network troubleshooting skills
- Excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Microsoft: Active Directory, Exchange, O365, SharePoint Online experience is beneficial
- Workstation / Server maintenance; scripting and scheduling tasks
- One year IT Help Desk support experience
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft) are a plus
