When making a big purchase, it is important that you make sure that what you are buying will last for a while.  The last thing you want is to make a big purchase and find out that a year later you need to upgrade to the newest thing.

Tech Republic recently posted an article concerning small businesses and how they should be investing in products for the long term.  According to Tech Republic, “If you’re purchasing hardware based on your current needs, you are wasting money. But if you’re buying machines with CPUs, RAM, HDs, etc., based on your current needs, you can bet you’ll be facing an upgrade soon enough.”
